Event/Project Coordinator (work-study eligible) 

Description

Wendland-Cook program is looking for a qualified intern to join our team to handle Project Coordination.

Intern will work on a team with the Program Director, Associate Director and Program Fellows as well as with other university staff helping to coordinate program events and projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing program events and projects

  • Assist staff in event planning and execution

  • Develop, distribute and compile event feedback surveys

  • Help to refine program goals based on event outcomes

  • Take notes and document program meetings and events

  • Document project and event tasks in management system 

  • Maintain program, project and event records in G Suite

Requirements

  • Vanderbilt University student interested in social movements related to economic and ecological justice

  • Eligible for work study and able to work at least 10 hours per week

  • Ability to attend events on evenings and weekends

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of project management systems

  • Self-motivated and hard-working

  • Ability to take direction and multi-task

  • G Suite experience a plus
