Event/Project Coordinator (work-study eligible)
Description
Wendland-Cook program is looking for a qualified intern to join our team to handle Project Coordination.
Intern will work on a team with the Program Director, Associate Director and Program Fellows as well as with other university staff helping to coordinate program events and projects.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and managing program events and projects
Assist staff in event planning and execution
Develop, distribute and compile event feedback surveys
Help to refine program goals based on event outcomes
Take notes and document program meetings and events
Document project and event tasks in management system
Maintain program, project and event records in G Suite
Requirements
Vanderbilt University student interested in social movements related to economic and ecological justice
Eligible for work study and able to work at least 10 hours per week
Ability to attend events on evenings and weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of project management systems
Self-motivated and hard-working
Ability to take direction and multi-task
G Suite experience a plus
